Winner of the American Concrete Institute Louisiana Chapter Best Concrete Projects Award of Merit, the Johnson's Bayou Measurement Facility’s regasification terminal is part of Cheniere Energy’s Creole Trail Pipeline.
Waskey provided Entergy with two bridges for this ABC Pelican Chapter Award of Excellence project installed by Cajun Deep Foundations. The two bridges allowed for access of heavy loads bringing in new equipment for the existing Evergreen Substation in Plaquemine, LA.
Two large, unique platforms were required for this substation located in Fourchon, LA. Numerous embeds, voids, and weld plates were incorparted into the decking and capsills to accomidate the machinery and structures that sat ontop of the decking.
When
steel and cast in place options were not permissible, Waskey precast
industrial vaults were fabricated to ensure the client
would receive high quality products ready for installation upon delivery.
Waskey provided a custom precast access bridge and a
multitude of different sized capsills for this drill site in the coastal
marshland of southwest Louisiana.
To allow access for heavy equipment to be brought through for this new large industrial plant being built in south Louisiana, Waskey was approached to help meet the owners requirements for a specific crossing skew for this bridge and a specific loading requirements as well.
For this project Waskey provided 650 lineal feet of raised roadway to allow access for plant personnel to monitor the raw water intake system. Waskey proposed and implemented changes to the original design which saved both the client and general contractor a great deal of time and money.
